Yazaki Bulgaria To Invest BGN 45.5 M in Cable Plant Near Dimitrovgrad

The Council of Ministers has approved a draft memorandum of understanding with the investor Yazaki Bulgaria EOOD for the construction of a plant for cable equipment of cars near the village of Krepost in the region of Dimitrovgrad, announced the press centre of the government.

The plant will produce electric installations for Mercedes class A and V cars.

BH Air To Launch Direct Flights to Canada

Air carrier BH Air will launch direct flights from Sofia to Canada.

The charter company has been selected as the air carrier to service the flights, read a decision of the Council of Ministers taken on Wednesday.

BH Air has expressed readiness to start operating a direct route to Toronto. Initially, there will be two flights per week.

Malta's EU Presidency To Improve Bulgaria's Access to Schengen Border Systems

Malta's rotating presidency of the council of the European Union will work towards an improvement of the access of Bulgaria to Schengen border systems for the exchange of information in spite of the existing problem with joining the Schengen area, announced Maltese Interior Minister Carmelo Abela in front of deputies from the legal committee of the European Parliament.

BSP Ask Borisov If BGN 2 B Has Been Stolen From Budget Surplus

The leader of BSP Korneliya Ninova has asked Prime Minister Boyko Borisov where the surplus of BGN 2 B from last year's budget is.

According to the minutes of the Council of Ministers, which was distributed on 20 Positano St on Friday, in August 2016 the surplus was BGN 3.267 B which Borisov said would not be spent but would be used as a "buffer".
