Major risk that €65 mln in subsidies could go to waste
Authorities are scrambling not to lose European funding of the public-private partnership (PPP) for waste management in the Peloponnese region.
A few days ago the major project, which had been rejected in 2020, was resubmitted, with the Jaspers technical support team estimating that almost all of key issues have been addressed.
TAIPED concedes 67% stake in Igoumenitsa Port
State asset utilization fund TAIPED on Tuesday announced the signing of the share purchase agreement for the concession of a majority stake of 67% in the Igoumenitsa Port Authority's share capital for a total price of 84.17 million euros to the joint venture consisting of the companies Grimaldi Euromed SpA-Minoan Lines SA-Investment Construction Commercial and Industrial SA.

Spinalonga to light up in 2024
