Witness Dejan Lucic told the retrial of Serbian State Security Service officials Jovica Stanisic and Franko Simatovic at the Mechanism for International Criminal Tribunals in The Hague on Thursday that the defendants did not send Dragan Vasiljkovic, alias Captain Dragan, to Croatia in 1991 to set up a training camp for rebel Serb fighters.

Dinamo Zagreb Football Supremo Convicted of Fraud

Zdravko Mamic, the former chief of Dinamo Zagreb, his brother Zoran Mamic, Damir Vrbanovic, a former Dinamo director, and tax official Milan Pernar were convicted on Wednesday of siphoning about 116 million kunas (15.5 million euros) out of the football club and defrauding the state of about 12.milion kuna (1.8 euro) in unpaid taxes.

Serbian PM to attend Jahorina Economic Forum

According to the Serbian government, "the central topic will be regional cooperation as a driver of economic development."

Brnabic will address the opening of the forum, while she and Serb Republic (RS) Prime Minister Zeljka Cvijanovic will speak at the central panel dedicated to "importance of regional cooperation."

K. Albanian carrier's bus turns over, 9 injured

B92.net has learned unofficially that three persons received serious, but not life-threatening injuries.

The accident happened at around 05:00 hour CET when the bus for unknown reasons swerved into the opposite lane, drove off the road, and then turned over.

The bus belongs to a Kosovo Albanian carrier, and was traveling between Kranj in Slovenia and Pristina.
