Croatian police on Monday arrested Ivan Crnjac, the former vice-president of Agrokor, in charge of the company finances, his lawyer, Ljubo Pavasovic, told regional media hub N1.

N1 also said the police arrested Tomislav Lucic and Ljerka Puljic, former members of Agrokor's supervisory board, and Piroska Canjuga and Mislav Galic, former members of Agrokor's executive board.

An incident happened in Croatia's capital Zagreb on Thursday evening that left one person lightly injured, Croatian media are reporting.

The local police confirmed for the website index.hr that they received a report about the incident, which took place in a tram traveling on city line 6.

The Croatian police have detained two Serbian citizens on suspicion that they organized illegal transfers of Turkish citizens from Bosnia to Croatia.

Four more men are accused in the case, that charges the suspects with illegal entry, movement, and stay in Croatia.

Serbia's Justice Ministry told BIRN that it would guarantee alleged drone pilot Ismail Morina the same rights as others whose extradition Belgrade is seeking, but offered no additional assurances for his safety, which his family fears is under threat if he is sent to Serbia.

Darko Butigan, a lawyer for Ismail Morina - who is accused of flying a drone carrying a flag of Greater Albania at a football match in Belgrade in 2014 - told BIRN on Monday that his client is seeking political asylum in Croatia to avoid extradition to Serbia.

There were clashes between Bulgarian and Croatian fans in the city of Zadar in the evening before the first match of the second preliminary round in the Europa League tournament between the local Hajduk Split and the Bulgarian Levski Sofia.

Slovenian Foreign Minister Karl Erjavec has announced that his country will send a protest note to Croatia over an incident in the Piran Bay.

German-based NGO Rigardu, which helps refugees on their way to Europe, passed reports to BIRN that allegedly show that Croatian police used violence against refugees in June.

Rigardu took statements from people who said they had witnessed the use of violence by the Croatian police, mostly on the border with Serbia, from where the refugees have been entering Croatia.
