Croatia Police Search Agrokor Boss Home, Arrest Associates

Croatian police on Monday arrested Ivan Crnjac, the former vice-president of Agrokor, in charge of the company finances, his lawyer, Ljubo Pavasovic, told regional media hub N1.

N1 also said the police arrested Tomislav Lucic and Ljerka Puljic, former members of Agrokor's supervisory board, and Piroska Canjuga and Mislav Galic, former members of Agrokor's executive board.

Albanians Oppose Drone Flyer's Extradition to Serbia

Croatian Supreme Court is yet to decide whether notorious drone flyer Ismail Morina will be sent to Serbia, after a court in Dubrovnik backed Belgrade's extradition request on Thursday.

On Saturday, Albanian football fans protested in front of the Prime Minister's office, urging the authorities to intervene in stopping the extradition.

Croatian Police Accused of Continuing to Beat Refugees

German-based NGO Rigardu, which helps refugees on their way to Europe, passed reports to BIRN that allegedly show that Croatian police used violence against refugees in June.

Rigardu took statements from people who said they had witnessed the use of violence by the Croatian police, mostly on the border with Serbia, from where the refugees have been entering Croatia.
