Exhibition Commemorates Suffering of Yugoslav ‘Barren Island’ Prisoners
An exhibition of new images from Goli Otok go on display at the Cultural Centre of Belgrade on Thursday evening gives a contemporary view of the former prison camp, which photographer Milomir Kovacevic described as "the biggest 'stain' on Yugoslavia, communism, the [Communist] Party and [Josip Broz] Tito".
Fifth Goethe Fest to start Thursday
BELGRADE - The fifth festival of German contemporary film, "Goethe Fest", will start Thursday at the Cultural Centre of Belgrade.
Under the slogan "Reality Bites" audiences in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nis will have the opportunity to see twelve films over the course of seven festival nights.

"The Pleasure of Love" at 56th October Salon
BELGRADE - Works by 67 artists from 26 countries, featuring different approaches to the theme of "Pleasure of Love", were displayed on Friday at the Belgrade City Museum and the Cultural Centre of Belgrade as part of the 56th October Salon, which ends on November 6.

Belgrade Irish festival from March 13 to 22
BELGRADE - The Belgrade Irish Festival (BIF) under the slogan 'BEO-GRAD, ZELENI-GRAD' will be held at several locations in Belgrade from March 13 to 22.
The star of this year's festival, the third in a row, is Irish singer and composer Lisa Hannigan who will perform in the Belgrade Youth Centre on March 21.

55th October Salon opens in Belgrade
BELGRADE - The 55th October Salon opened at a packed Belgrade City Museum late Friday, featuring works by 32 Serbian and international artists.
Disappearing Things, the concept of this year's Salon - proposed by curators Nikolaus Schaffhausen and Vanessa Joan Miller - is inspired by the phenomenon of Internet social networks, in particular, the Snapchat application.

Nisville Jazz Festival from August 14 to 17

According to Bojan Djordjevic, the founder and director of the Ring Ring festival, the main characteristic of this year's festival is diversity in terms of genre.
