Restoration begins at 1,600-year-old quake-hit church
The Culture and Tourism Ministry's teams, along with local heritage crews, have initiated restoration efforts at the 1,600-year-old Saint George Church in the southeastern province of Diyarbakır nearly eight months after the structure experienced grave damage in the twin earthquakes.
Gymnasium, new favorite in Side
Significant structures in the ancient city of Side, located in the southern province of Antalya, have been revived during restoration works, with the city's Gymnasium (ancient school) standing out as one of the favorite sites of visitors coming to the region.

Cultural Road Festival to close in Antalya
The last leg of the Culture and Tourism Ministry's Cultural Road Festival will be held in the southern province of Antalya. More than 500 events will be held at nearly 50 locations during the event to be held between Nov. 4 and 12.
Events will be held at locations including the ancient city of Side, Cumhuriyet Square, Clock Tower, Konyaaltı, Kaleiçi and many other venues.

Over 39 million foreign tourists visit Türkiye in nine months
Foreign tourist arrivals in Türkiye rose by 12.7 percent in January-September to 39.2 million, while the country's tourism revenues were up 13 percent to $20.2 billion in the third quarter, official data released on Oct. 31 showed.
Türkiye aims to host 60 million tourists and generate $56 billion in tourism revenues this year.

‘Nano lime’ protects statues on Nemrut

Museum card sales hit 2.1 mln in 2023
The sales of museum cards, known as MüzeKart, reached 2.1 million in the first seven months of 2023, the Culture and Tourism Ministry has announced.
According to the statement made by the ministry, there was a record increase in MüzeKart sales, the price of which was recently fixed to 60 Turkish Liras.
