Croatian Anti-Military Protest Moved From Ministry
The Croatian leftist group "Workers' Front" told BIRN on Wednesday that their protest on Saturday "Against Militarisation" had been moved from in front of the Defence Ministry in Zagreb by the police.

BELGRADE - The German army is currently embroiled in a scandal after reports surfaced of "sadistic sexual practices" on trainees at an elite army camp in Pfullendorf, Baden-Württemberg.
Bulgarian Govt Grants BGN 9.3 M More for MiG-29 Aircraft
At its last meeting, the Borisov 2 cabinet allocated additional funding for the MiG-29 fighter aircraft. The Defence Ministry received an additional BGN 9.3 M.
The former soldier barracks in Aytos become the property of the local authorities. The airport in Ravnets, which is no longer needed by the Ministry of Defence, is transferred to Burgas municipality.

Serbia signs contract to buy nine latest-generation helicopters

At its last meeting for the year on Wednesday, Bulgaria's outgoing government adopted a proposal to establish a commemoration day in honour of Bulgarians who fought against Nazi Germany. The proposal was submitted by the Defence Minister Nikolay Nenchev.

All passengers survive in Russian aeroplane crash
All passengers aboard the Russian aircraft that crashed in Sakha Republic of the country on Monday, have survived, Defence Ministry said.
At least sixteen persons aboard an Il-18 plane were critically injured, but all passengers and crew have survived, the ministry said.
“Helicopters have evacuated all of them to health centres in Tiksi,” the ministry.
