Fifteen more COVID-19 vaccination sites to open on April 5
Defence Minister Nicolae Ciuca said on Thursday that on April 5, 15 new COVID-19 vaccination sites will open in Romania. "On April 5, 15 new vaccination sites will open, inside which one office will be devoted to the military and three to civilians," Ciuca told TVR 1 national broadcaster.

Matei Bals patients transferred to Military Emergency Hospital ICU
Two patients who on Friday were transferred from the Matei Bals Hospital to the Dr. Carol Davila Central Military Emergency University Hospital (SUUMC) are in intensive care, and two more transferred to the ROL2 healthcare facility at Otopeni are in a stable state and burn-free, according to the Defence Ministry (MApN).
Five tonnes of medical supplies from Qatar flown into Romania
The Romanian Air Force on Thursday used a C-130 Hercules aircraft to fly into Romania approximately five tonnes of medical supplies from Qatar needed for the ongoing COVID-19 vaccination campaign, according to the Defence Ministry (MApN). The supplies consist of 500,000 1 ml syringes and 450,000 3 ml syringes.
Constitutional Court stays implementation of act on army investments
Ljubljana – The Constitutional Court has stayed the implementation of an act on EUR 780 million in investments in the Slovenian Armed Forces pending a decision on the constitutionality of the legislation. The Defence Ministry labelled the decision as “disproportionate”.

Privately-run companies called to get involved as institute can only turn out 1,000 bottles of OROSTIM HV
The Defence Ministry (MApN) on Wednesday announced that the Cantacuzino Institute released on Wednesday only 942 bottles of the dietary supplement OROSTIM-HV, which strengthens the body's immunity to respiratory infections, but production can be increased if privately-owned companies get involved.
Opposition collects 28,000 signatures in support of army investment referendum
Ljubljana – The opposition Left and Social democrats (SD) filed more than 28,000 signatures to the National Assembly in support of a referendum on EUR 780 million in additional defence spending planned for 2021-2026, which is more than enough to start a referendum procedure. Now they will seek to collect 40,000 verified signatures to call a referendum.
