The existence of fortune-telling cafes, which are coffee shops where all kinds of fortune-telling arts are performed, such as Turkish coffee to hand and tarot card reading, is against the law, and their owners should be punished, suggests a lawyer.

MİT: Two PKK terrorists caught, brought to Türkiye
Türkiye's National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has caught two PKK/KCK terrorists in Iraq's Makhmour in an operation and brought them to Türkiye, Demirören News Agency has reported.

MİT neutralizes PKK terrorist in N Iraq
The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has neutralized Vedat Aksaç, a terrorist who was in the so-called PKK's "hit squad," in northern Iraq, Demirören News Agency has reported.
Two other terrorists were neutralized in an operation on Sept. 5.

Nine FETÖ suspects nabbed in ops
Some nine people with ties to FETÖ, the group behind the 2016 defeated coup in Türkiye, have been nabbed in simultaneous operations in the country's four provinces.
Prosecutors in Istanbul issued warrants for the detention of some 11 suspects, accusing them of infiltrating the army.

Greece has committed 1,123 violations and harassment against Turkish airspace and territorial waters in the first eight months of this year, Demirören News Agency has reported.
Another senior PKK member killed in northern Iraq by MİT
The Turkish National Intelligence Organization (MİT) has neutralized another senior PKK terrorist in northern Iraq, Demirören News Agency has reported.
"Bedirhan Abi, codenamed 'Darav Gevda' has been killed in Sinjar," the agency wrote on Sept. 4.
Meteorologists warn of torrential rain in northern provinces
The Turkish State Meteorological Service has issued a torrential rain warning for the northern provinces and has declared "yellow" and "orange" alerts for Giresun, Trabzon, Rize and Artvin.
According to the bureau's latest weather report, torrential rains are expected especially in Marmara and Black Sea regions.
160 migrants pushed back by Greece saved on Aegean
Turkish Coast Guard teams have saved a total of 160 migrants pushed back by Greek forces on the Aegean Sea in two different locations.
The first incident happened off the southwestern province of Muğla's Bodrum district early Aug. 28 when Coast Guard officers saved some 64 migrants pushed back by Greece.

Some 130 kittens born in Van Cat Villa in a year
A total of 130 kittens were born in the Van Cat Villa, a center in the eastern province of Van where rare Van cats are put under protection, in a year, Demirören News Agency has reported.
Van cats are domestic cats found in the Lake Van region that are famous for having heterochromia (one eye blue and the other amber in color).

Over 440 migrants caught in İzmir in one week
The gendarmerie units in the western province of İzmir have caught 446 irregular migrants between Aug. 15 and 24, İhlas News Agency has reported.
"Some three suspects involved in human smuggling have also been detained," the agency said.
