Turkey's main opposition party to name women at top of electoral lists
The main opposition Republican People?s Party (CHP) has decided to nominate women at the top of its electoral list in Turkey?s three largest provinces, in a move aimed at improving low female representation in the country?s politics.

Security bill endangers Kurdish bid, KCK says
The government's insistence on a controversial security bill will put the Kurdish peace process in danger, the Kurdistan Communities' Union (KCK) said in a statement on Feb. 15, describing its content as an indication of authoritarianism that does not comply with the objective of democratizing Turkey.
