Three children that were allegedly being brought to the camps of the outlawed Kurdistan Workers’ Party (PKK) were captured during a police raid in the eastern province of Hakkari’s Yüksekova district June 5 amid a row over children being “abducted” by the organization.

Committee on Information discusses censorship claims

BELGRADE -- Serbian Minister of Culture and Information Ivan Tasovac said Monday that the freedom of the media was not under threat in the country.

This is the case despite recent allegations by the OSCE that media content was censored.

National Liberal Party (PNL) Chairman ad interim Klaus Iohannis reasserted that he is willing to run for President, if nominated by his party; he pointed out that he seriously considers a victory against incumbent PM Victor Ponta in the presidential race.

'If the party proposes it, I am willing to candidate,' Iohannis said on Monday evening at Realitatea TV.
