Squadron leader Andrei Criste, the pilot of an MIG 21 LanceR airplane that crashed in Mures County, underwent surgery on Wednesday at the Carol Davila Military Hospital in Bucharest, with the surgery reportedly going on well, without events or complications during or after surgery that would have endanger the life or physical integrity of the pilot.

Squadron leader Andrei Criste, the pilot of a MIG 21 LanceR plane that crashed on Tuesday in Mures County who was flown to the Dr Carol Davila Hospital in Bucharest, has been examined by a team of doctors specialising in emergency medicine, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, anesthesia and intensive care, and general surgery for a diagnosis and surgical and therapeutic treatment.

Squadron leader Andrei Criste, who managed to eject himself on Tuesday from a crashing plane in Mures County, is in stable condition, and in the evening he will be flown by an Air Force aircraft to the Bucharest Central Military Hospital for specialist treatment and recovery.
