About 3% Will Be the Increase in Electricity in Bulgaria From July

,,The increase in electricity in July will be within the annual inflation rate, which is within 3 or slightly over 3 percent'', the Chairman of the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission (KEVR) Ivan Ivanov told journalists after a discussion about the electricity theft, reported BTA. 
"The increase in electricity will be far from what electricity companies want," Ivanov said.

The Energy and Water Regulatory Commission discusses how much to increase the price of the natural gas from April 1, reported NOVA TV.

Now the price is about BGN 44  per megawatt hour.

Bulgargaz, however, has already demanded an increase of 0.8%. The reason for the requested price increase is the appreciation of the dollar and the alternative to gas.

Prices of Water in Bulgaria to Go up by 10% in the New Year

Water prices are rising by up to 10% in 26 locations in 2019. This was decided by the Energy and Water Regulatory Commission in a closed sitting on 28th of December. The largest increase of water prices is in Burgas and Sofia - by 10%. The most expensive will be the water supply service in Shumen, where a cubic metre of water will cost 3.40 BGN, reports BNT.
