EU Commission receives Slovenia’s recovery and resilience plan

Brussels/Ljubljana – The European Commission confirmed on Saturday it has officially received Slovenia’s recovery and resilience plan, which specifies reforms and public investments projects the country intends to implement with support of the EU recovery and resilience mechanism.

Foreign ministers of Slovenia, Japan call for boosting cooperation

Ljubljana – Foreign Minister Anže Logar received his Japanese counterpart Toshimitsu Motegi on Friday with the pair calling for enhancing cooperation between Slovenia and Japan both in business and politics, as Slovenia sees potential in high-tech. Johansson to broach issue of media freedom on visit to Slovenia

Brussels – European Home Affairs Commissioner Ylva Johansson will start a two-day visit to Slovenia on Thursday to discuss the country’s EU presidency preparations. She intends to raise the issue of media freedom and pluralism as well. Slovenia should not underestimate the risk to its international reputation when it comes to this, Johansson has told the STA.
