Bucharest, March 26 /Agerpres/ - The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu, paid an official visit to Slovenia on Friday, on which occasion he was received by the President Borut Pahor, by the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Slovenia, Igor Zorcic, and had far-reaching political consultations with his counterpart, Anze Logar.

Romanian Prime Minister Florin Citu - on a visit to Brussels - had a meeting on Thursday with Frans Timmermans, European Commission Executive Vice President for the European Green Deal, expressing in context Romania's readiness to actively participates in the implementation of long-term objectives agreed through the Strategic Agenda for 2019-2024.

The Cyber Center in Bucharest could become operational by the middle of this year, and Romania will have to allocate a third of the budget devoted to digitalization through the National Recovery and Resilience Program for this project, Minister of Research, Innovation and Digitalization Ciprian Teleman told a speciality conference on Friday.

The EU's Cyber Center in Bucharest will initiate and run numerous European-funded programs and projects and will be a catalyst for cybersecurity innovation, research and collaboration for member states, Dan Cimpean, General Director of Romanian National Computer Security Incident Response Team (CERT-RO).
