EU Backs Romania's Aid for Energy Complex
The European Commission on Tuesday said Romania's temporary rescue aid of 167 million lei (37.6 million euro) for the state-owned power producer Complexul Energetic Hunedoara was in line with EU state aid rules.
Romania has granted the short-term loans to help CE Hunedoara pay off creditors and continue operations following losses in the last two years.

Eurozone finance ministers will not set any deadline for Greece to come up with reforms to get more funding because such time limits lead to brinkmanship in negotiations, a senior eurozone official said on Tuesday.
