Joksimovic: Serious work on Chapters 23, 24

BELGRADE - Serbia's European Integration Minister Jadranka Joksimovic on Tuesday received a delegation of the European Parliament's Committee on Constitutional Affairs.

They discussed Serbia's progress in implementing action plans for chapters 23 and 24 in the accession talks, the results achieved to date and future activities and plans as part of the chapters.

62 European MPs convey concerns over arrest of two Turkish hunger-striking educators

Some 62 members of the European Parliament sent a letter to Justice Minister Bekir Bozdağ on May 23 to express their concerns over the recent detention and arrest of two educators who have been on hunger strike for more than two months, calling on the Turkish government for their immediate release.
