NBS keeps key policy rate unchanged at 6.50 pct
BELGRADE - The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Executive Board decided on Thursday to keep the key policy rate on hold at 6.50 pct.
It did not change the rates on deposit (5.25 pct) and lending facilities (7.75 pct) either, the NBS said.

NBS retains key policy rate at 6.5 pct
BELGRADE - The National Bank of Serbia (NBS) Executive Board decided on Thursday to keep the key policy rate on hold at 6.50 pct.
The rates on deposit (5.25 pct) and lending facilities (7.75 pct) also remained unchanged, the NBS said in a statement.

Praise for Cyprus by ECB executive
Philip R. Lane, member of the Executive Board and chief economist at the European Central Bank (ECB), said he is pleased to witness the significant progress of the Cypriot economy.
He was speaking after meetings on Wednesday at the start of his visit to Cyprus that concluded on Thursday, following an invitation from the governor of the Central Bank of Cyprus, Constantinos Herodotou.
