A ceremonial academy is being held in Banja Luka tonight on the occasion of the Day of the Republic of Srpska, which has been adjusted to TV broadcast due to the coronavirus pandemic.

On the occasion of January 9 - the Day of the Republic, President of the Republic of Srpska, Zeljka Cvijanovic, have decorated earlier today deserving institutions and individuals.

Muslim-Croat entity veterans clash with police in Sarajevo

The FBiH (the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina) is the Muslim-Croat entity in Bosnia-Herzegovina - the other being the Serb Republic (RS).

The incidents today took place as protesters blocked the main road in Sarajevo, on which occasion, according to still unverified information, 30 former fighters got injured, the local website klix.ba is reporting.

Lukac: Groups with bad intentions are coming to Banja Luka

BANJA LUKA - Minister of Internal Affairs of Republika Srpka (RS) Dragan Lukac said Friday that the RS police had obtained information, from multiple sources, that groups and individuals "with bad intentions" were coming from the Federation of Bosnia-Herzegovina (BiH), Croatia and Serbia to Banja Luka for protests scheduled for Saturday.
