Six People Dead in Road Accidents During the Past Day in Bulgaria

Six people died in road accidents in the past 24 hours, the press centre of the Bulgarian Ministry of Interior announced, quoted by Focus News Agency.

A total of 18 road accidents occurred in the country, in which 20 people were injured.

On the territory of the capitol Sofia, 169 minor road accidents occurred, during which nobody died or was injured.

Minister Nikolina Angelkova: We Expect 10% Growth in Tourism in Summer

''We expect growth of nearly 10% in the summer again this year'', Minister of Tourism Nikolina Anglekova told journalists, quoted by FOCUS News Agency.

She said the lack of staff in the sector is a problem and a challenge, given the significant growth in tourism over the last years. The state will create a working group or a unit to facilitate the issuing of visas and work permits.

Yellow Code Over Rains and Thunderstorms in 12 Regions

In 12 regions in the country a Yellow Code was issued over rains and thunderstorms, alerted the National Institute of Meteorology and Hydrology (NIMH) at the Bulgarian Academy of Science.

The regions which are threatened by dangerous natural phenomenas: Kardjali, Haskovo, Yambol, Sliven, Burgas, Targovishte, Razgrad, Ruse, Silistra, Shumen, Dobrich and Varna.

Dimitar Glavchev To Attend Ceremony of Raising the EU Flag

The Chairman of the National Assembly of Bulgaria Dimitar Glavchev and some members of the Parliament are going to attend the festive ceremony of  raising the flag of the European Union. That announced the Presidency Press Centre, reported Focus News Agency.

The ritual which marks the Europe Day will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., on May 9 2017, in front of the President institution.
