Indian business delegation holds talks in Türkiye

A high-level business delegation from the Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) is on a visit to Türkiye to hold talks in Istanbul and İzmir on Dec. 18-20.

The delegation comprises representatives of sectors such as health care, ICT, food, electric vehicles, defense, drones and engineering, the Consulate General of India said in a statement.

Türkiye seeks to boost trade volume with Egypt to $15 bln

 

Türkiye aims to increase its bilateral trade with Egypt to $15 billion in five years, Trade Minister Ömer Bolat has said.

Bolat was in Egypt last week to hold talks with high-level officials, including Prime Minister Mostafa Madbouly and Trade and Industry Minister Ahmed Samir Saleh.

A delegation of 175 Turkish businesspeople accompanied Bolat during his visit.

Turkey eyes comprehensive free trade pacts to boost exports

Turkey has been building a new generation of comprehensive free trade agreements (FTAs) ​​that include services, investments and public procurement in order to increase exports, strengthen the competitiveness of the industry and attract foreign capital, the country's trade minister said on Aug. 17.

Turkey ‘may help Libya economic recovery'

With the right policies, Turkey could play a crucial role in Libya's reconstruction period, a top business leader said.
Murtaza Karanfil, the head of Turkey-Libya Business Council of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), told Anadolu Agency in an interview that Turkey is not seen as a colonial state in the region like many other countries.
