Russia Urges Bulgaria to Refrain from 'Ill-Grounded' Claims

Moscow is hoping that Bulgarian authorities will refrain from ill-grounded accusations against Russia, the country's Foreign Ministry spokesperson said on Wednesday.

At a media briefing on current affairs, Maria Zakharova commented on Bulgarian President Rosen Plevneliev's recent interview with The Independent.

One Bulgarian Reportedly Killed in Paris Attacks

One Bulgarian citizen was reportedly killed in one of the multiple attacks, which claimed the lives of at least 128 people and left more than 180 people injured in Paris on Friday night.

The 37-year-old Sebastian, who has a dual citizenship - Bulgarian and French, was killed in the attack on the Le Petit Cambodge restaurant.

Foreign Ministry Has No Information on Bulgarian Casualties in Paris Attacks

The Foreign Ministry has no information on any Bulgarian citizens injured or killed in the multiple attacks, which left at least 120 people dead and more than 200 others wounded in Paris on Friday night.

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov strongly condemned the attacks and expressed condolences to the families and relatives of the victims.

Foreign Ministry Advises Bulgarians to Avoid Travel to Egyptian Resorts

The Foreign Ministry advised on Friday Bulgarians to refrain from travelling to the Egyptian resorts located on the Sinai peninsula (Sharm el-Sheikh, Dahab, Nuweiba and others) until the investigation of the crashed Russian airplane has come out with a definitive conclusion on the likely causes of the incident.

Turkey sends medical team to Romania for Turks injured in nightclub fire

Turkey has sent a medical team to Romania to support the treatment of two Turks injured in nightclub fire, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Tanju Bilgiç said on Nov. 5.

One of the Turkish nationals caught in the fire was severely injured and is under intensive care while the other has been released from hospital, he told reporters.
