German Foreign Minister to Arrive in Sofia on March 10

Bulgarian Foreign Minister Daniel Mitov will meet with his German counterpart Frank-Walter Steinmeier on March 10 in Sofia.

Germany's Foreign Minister will arrive in Sofia on an official visit at the invitation of his Bulgarian counterpart.

The official talks will take place at 9:30 am at the Foreign Ministry headquarters.

Notice on military maneuvers in Aegean was a mistake, Turkey says

Turkey says a recent notice seeking to reserve a large swath of airspace over the Aegean Sea for military maneuvers was issued by mistake and then canceled.

A statement by Foreign Ministry Spokesman Tanju Bilgic said Tuesday that the Notice to Airmen, or NOTAM, was inadvertently declared "with an inaccurate coordinate." He did not elaborate.

Alternate FM N. Chountis meets with French Secretary of State

Alternate Foreign Minister Nikos Chountis will meet with and host a working luncheon for French Secretary of State for European Affairs Harlem Désir on Wednesday, 25 February 2015.

Iraqi Kurdish PM in Ankara amid oil row and jihadist threat

Iraqi Kurdish Prime Minister Nechirvan Barzani was in Ankara on Feb. 19 to meet with Turkish leaders, amid an ongoing oil exports dispute with Baghdad and the escalating security threat from jihadists in Iraq.

Barzani first held talks with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdo?an before meeting Prime Minister Ahmet Davuto?lu.
