Slovenia to play major role in conference on EU’s future

Ljubljana – Slovenia will play a major role in the organisation of the Conference on the Future of Europe as the bulk of the project is held during the Slovenian EU presidency. The country would like to add value to the conference substance-wise as well. It will strive to make sure that as many voices of EU citizens are heard as possible.

FMs of Slovenia, Austria, Czech Republic express support to N Macedonia’s EU path

Skopje – Foreign minister of Slovenia, Austria and the Czech Republic, Anže Logar, Alexander Schallenberg and Jakub Kulhanek, expressed support to North Macedonia’s EU path at a working visit to the country on Saturday. Macedonian FM Bujar Osmani thanked for their support and called for EU accession talks to start as soon as possible.

Bogdan Aurescu to participate in CoE Committee of Ministers' meeting on Friday

The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Bogdan Aurescu, will participate, on Friday, in the 131st meeting of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe (CoE), which will take place in videoconference system, among the topics on the agenda being democracy, conflicts and crisis in Europe.

Mass Sacking of Kosovo Ambassadors Condemned by Opposition

Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani has dismissed 12 ambassadors acting on a proposal by the Foreign Ministry to recall all the country's politically appointed ambassadors.

"President Osmani has acted in accordance with the proposal of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs," the President's office told BIRN.
