Eurostat pegs inflation in Greece at 9.8% and 10.7% in the eurozone in October
Harmonized inflation in Greece "fell" to 9.8% in October, according to Eurostat data. At the same time, the consumer price index in the eurozone increased by 10.7%, setting a new record.

The economic climate index remained at the level of the previous month in February, at 114.0 points (from 114.2), close to the historical maximum level of the last 21 years, according to the Foundation for Economic & Industrial Research - IOBE.

The forecasts of the government's financial staff for the growth rate that the Greek economy will achieve this year are returning back to 4.8%.
Contributing to the change in estimates are the facts that investment rose by more than 8% in the first quarter of the year, exports of goods also rose by more than 8%, and the recession in the first quarter to 2.3%.

Expectations in Greek industry improve in July
Business expectations in Greek industry improved in July as a result of a debt relief package agreed by eurozone member-states in June and government commitments that the country will continue to implement prudent fiscal policies after formally exiting the bailout programs on August 20, the country's most influential think tank, IOBE, said.
