Brancusi Day - marked by embassies in Bucharest with images of his works from Pompidou, Guggenheim
Brancusi Day was celebrated online, on Wednesday, by the embassies in Bucharest, with images of the sculptor's works from all over the world, from his workshop arranged in the "Pompidou" Center in Paris to the collection of the "Guggenheim" Museum in New York.
Tariceanu, presented with France's Knight of the Legion of Honour decoration
On Thursday at the French Embassy in Bucharest, Chairman of Romania's Senate Calin Popescu-Tariceanu was presented France's Knight of the Legion of Honour decoration, at a ceremony also attended by Princess Margareta, Prince Radu, former presidents Ion Iliescu and Emil Constantinescu, along with political figures and more.

PM Ponta: CAS consultation, meaningless; possibly some propaganda for President Basescu
