Mitsotakis to present New Democracy policy program

Man arrested after Omonia knife attack
Greek police have arrested an Algerian national in connection with a late Tuesday bar brawl in Omonia, central Athens, that left two persons injured.
Police say the two victims, an Iraqi and an Egyptian national, suffered light injuries after they were attacked by four men wielding knives.
The motive for the attack was not immediately clear.

Hospitals fill up with flu patients as virus takes toll
With mortalities from the flu reportedly so far exceeding 40 in Greece since October, hundreds of people with symptoms of the H1N1 virus are reportedly arriving at state hospitals which are struggling to prevent its spread among medical staff.
Thessaloniki surgeon released pending trial on bribery charges
The chief of the childrens surgery unit at the Georgios Gennimatas Hospital in the northern port city of Thessaloniki was released on Friday from custody pending trial on charges of accepting a 1,000 bribe in order to operate on a 20-year-old patient.
He was also ordered to pay 10,000 euros in bail.
