Turkey's ruling party spokesman on April 2 condemned the Greek Cypriot administration stamp commemorating the 65th anniversary of the EOKA terror group.

"We condemn the Greek Cypriot administration for printing a stamp commemorating the 65th anniversary of the EOKA terrorist organization," said Ömer Çelik, spokesman for the AKP on Twitter.

Turkey's National Security Council on March 30 called on Greece to act in line with good neighborly relations and abide by international law, instead of stepping up its policies against Ankara.

Turkish Cypriot leader Ersin Tatar has reiterated that a two-state solution is the only way for both peoples to live peacefully in coexistence on the island, citing that equality will remain on paper in the event of a possible federal solution.

Turkey on March 26 decried the appointment of a force commander to the U.N. Peacekeeping Force on Cyprus (UNFICYP).

Turkey and Greece held the 62nd round of talks in the Greek capital Athens on March 16. 

The consultative talks are focused on resolving bilateral disputes in the Aegean and Mediterranean seas, including achieving fair and equitable settlements to issues in the Aegean that began in 2002.

Turkey on March 15 expressed strong reservations over not being consulted over an EU-backed project in the Eastern Mediterranean.

The next round of consultative talks between Turkey and Greece will be held in Athens on March 16-17, Turkish officials said on March 10. 

The two countries are looking for solutions to disputes regarding the Aegean and Eastern Mediterranean seas.

The previous round of meetings was in Istanbul on Jan. 25.

Israel's energy minister said on March 9 that Tel Aviv is ready to cooperate with Turkey on natural gas in the Eastern Mediterranean.

Yuval Steinitz was speaking to the press about the Eastern Mediterranean Natural Gas Pipeline (EastMed) project during a visit to the Greek Cypriot administration.

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and German Chancellor Angela Merkel discussed bilateral ties and regional issues of interest to both countries in a video call on March 5, said an official statement.

Erdoğan stressed the importance of maintaining open communications and dialogue with Merkel, said Turkey's Communications Directorate.

Ankara on Feb. 11 criticized the Greek foreign minister's "unfounded accusations and slander" against Turkey at a meeting of the "Friendship Forum" in Greece's capital Athens.
