Government officials won't greet Šešelj

BELGRADE -- After spending 12 years in the Hague detention without verdict, Hague indictee and SRS party leader Vojislav Šešelj should return to Serbia today around noon.

Serbian Radical Party leader Seselj, who is on trial for war crimes at the Hague Tribunal, is set to arrive in Belgrade after being given temporary release for cancer treatment.

Šešelj likely to be released on Tuesday

BELGRADE -- It will be known on Monday when the leader of the Serb Radical Party (SRS) Vojislav Šešelj will return to Serbia, Rasim Ljajić has said.

The head of the Commission for Cooperation with the Hague Tribunal (ICTY) and the deputy prime minister noted that Šešelj will most likely arrive on Tuesday.

Serbian politicians traded accusations over the impending arrival in Belgrade of nationalist leader Seselj after his conditional release by the Hague Tribunal for cancer treatment.

THE HAGUE, BELGRADE -- The Hague Tribunal (ICTY) has granted provisional release to the leader of the Serb Radical Party (SRS), Vojislav Šešelj.
