Covid figures slightly down in weekly comparison
Ljubljana – Slovenia logged 1,387 new coronavirus cases on Thursday, down by 4% week-on-week, as the two-week epidemic decline seems to be flattening. Another two Covid-19 patients died, the latest Health Ministry data shows. The number of people hospitalised for Covid-19 as their primary condition rose by two in a day to 100, including ten ICU cases, same as the day before.

Wednesday’s Covid case count broadly flat w/w
Ljubljana – A total of 1,614 people tested positive for coronavirus on Wednesday, only 1.3% fewer than the same day a week ago as the pace of decline in infections has been slowing down. Data released by the Health Ministry shows three patients with Covid-19 died on Wednesday as 100 required hospital treatment for the disease, ten of whom required intensive care.

Coronavirus infections keep receding
Ljubljana – Slovenia reported 2,402 new cases of coronavirus for Monday, 9% fewer than the same day a week ago as cases kept falling week-on-week for the 12th day running. Six patients with Covid-19 died, fresh data from the Health Ministry shows. The number of patients needing hospital care for Covid-19 dropped by nine from Sunday to 104, of whom 15 require intensive care.

Fresh data on healthcare waiting times expected in a month
Ljubljana – For the past two months the Health Ministry has been analysing health care services in 2020 and 2021. Long waiting times have been confirmed as the bane of Slovenia’s healthcare with Minister Danijel Bešič Loredan warning about many errors in the IT system. They now aim to obtain up-to-date data in a month.
Covid cases down by nearly 20% week-on-week on Wednesday
Ljubljana – Slovenia confirmed 1,624 new Covid cases on Wednesday in what is an 18% drop week-on-week. As the epidemic continues to wane, hospitalisations remain stable, shows the latest data by the Health Ministry. The total of patients in regular wards who are hospitalised for Covid-19 as their main condition has increased by five to 91 in a day.
New security measures taken at hospital doors: Health Ministry
In a bid to detect illegal substances or objects that could endanger the safety of a patient or a doctor, "door security systems" has begun to be installed in hospitals, the Health Ministry has announced.
Slow increase in Covid figures continues
Ljubljana – Slovenia reported 1,592 new cases of coronavirus for Thursday, an increase of 20% from the same day a week ago, as hospital figures rose following a surge in infections over the past two weeks.

Coronavirus cases up a quarter week-on-week
Ljubljana – A total of 1,845 new coronavirus cases were confirmed in Slovenia on Tuesday, up 25.5% from a week ago but down 28% from Monday’s three-month record daily count. One patient with Covid-19 died, according to the Health Ministry.

Data from the Health Ministry showed that 1.5 million foreign nationals visited the country to receive health services.
New coronavirus cases hit three-month high
Ljubljana – Slovenia reported 2,365 cases of coronavirus for Monday, the highest figure in three months, and 29% more than the same day a week ago. One patient with Covid-19 died, according to the Health Ministry. A total of 49 patients with Covid-19 as their main condition were in hospitals on Monday, including eight in intensive care. The overall figure dropped by four from Sunday.
