Hospital doctors strike on Monday
Hospital doctors in Attica will hold a work stoppage from 11 a.m. until 3 p.m. on Monday to demand new permanent personnel hirings and for auxiliary doctors not to face dismissal.
The strike follows similar action last week.
Protesting staff will hold a rally outside the Health Ministry at 12. 30 p.m. on Monday.

177,000 Syrian babies in Turkish healthcare system
Some 177,000 babies born to Syrian parents are currently in the Turkish healthcare system, according to new data from the Health Ministry.
According to the ministry, children between 0-5 years old received vaccinations.

AIDS patients in Turkey rise 522 percent in 10 years
The number of recorded HIV/AIDS patients in Turkey has increased 522 percent over the course of the last decade, bringing the total number of AIDS patients in the country to 11,906, according to a member of Turkey's National Health Commission.
