Javier Vila | Athens | February 22

The Hellenic American Union (HAU) and the Cervantes Institute in Athens present a documentary by Javier Vila titled "The Flamenco School of the Cristina Heeren Foundation." The film looks at the history of the esteemed institution in Seville and the many lives that it helped change. The screening, which starts at 7 p.m., will be in Spanish with English subtitles. Admission is free.

Mini Portfolios | Athens | October 7 - November 5

In association with the Photography Circle and the Hellenic American College (HAEC), the Hellenic American Union presents "Mini Portfolios," a photography exhibition showcasing the creative identity of 65 members of the Photography Circle. The display is curated by Platon Rivellis and goes on display from October 7 to November 5. Opening hours are Mondays to Fridays from noon to 9 p.m.

Stuff+ | Athens | May 19-June 18

The Hellenic American Union is hosting "Stuff+" a group show running from May 19 to June 18. Curated by Louisa Karapidaki, the exhibition brings together Greek and foreign artists whose creative efforts aim to redefine traces of everyday wear and transform the images of accumulated erosion into art.

11th annual Comicdom Con exhibition

The 11th Comicdom Con exhibition, organized by the non-profit organization Comicdom Press, theHellenic American Union and the French Institute Of Greece, will take place in Athens on April 15-17 2016.

The three-day comics festival will be hosted at the main building of the Hellenic American Union (22 Massalias str) and the French Institute of Greece building (31 Sina str).
