An explosion at the offices of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) at 5 Xenofontos Street, Syntagma, shook the city center at 3.35 a.m. when the blast took place. A warning call had been made to Greek newspapers Vima and Efimerida ton Syntakton at 2.51 a.m. when an unknown man said that there would be a blast in 40 minutes.
Government plans to extend the use of credit/debit cards
