Local human resources seen suffering from skills shortage
Greece ranks last in the European Union, along with Spain, in the European Skills Index compiled by the European Center for the Development of Vocational Training (CEDEFOP), as while the country may boast a high rate of basic education, it also has a low level of professional skills.
New identity cards available at the end of 2021
The new Greek identity cards will be available at the end of 2021, Digital Governance Minister Kyriakos Pierrakakis said on Thursday speaking at the conference in Athens.

InvestGR Forum to be themed ‘Greece Is Back’

Trade body planning business mission to Iraq
The Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) is preparing a business mission to Iraq, from September 7 to 9.
The delegation, which will include companies from all sectors, will visit Baghdad and Erbil, in Iraqi Kurdistan.
The mission is sponsored by Greece's Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Arab-Hellenic Chamber of Commerce and Development.

Rouvikonas members sentenced over paint attack
Two members of the Rouvikonas anti-establishment group were slapped with prison sentences of five and six months by an Athens court on Friday for the paint attack last month which targeted the offices of the Hellenic Federation of Enterprises (SEV) near Syntagma Square in the city center.
