There are currently 2,120 e-vehicle charging stations in Greece with 4,890 charging points, Hellenic Institute of Electric Vehicles (ELINHO) President Giorgos Ageridis said on Tuesday.

Renewable energy technologies, their interconnection to the grid as well as the new investment landscape, as it will be formed in the context of the energy transition, will be at the focus of the digital conference entitled: "Energy Solutions Made in Germany - Renewable Energy Sources, Storage and Integration in Network ", organized on Tuesday, June 29, by the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerc

Within the next few days, the bill is expected to simplify the procedures in the investment environment, said among others the Deputy Minister of Development and Investment, Nikos Papathanasis, speaking at the 5th Hellenic-German Economic Forum, entitled "Growth Vision-Flagship Investments".

The forum is organized online by the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Startup company Kenotom is one of the success stories that stood out at the inaugural Greek-German Innovation Forum at the Stavros Niarchos Foundation Cultural Center (SNFCC) in southern Athens a few months ago.

In cooperation with the Thessaloniki Municipality, the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry is holding a Christmas bazaar inspired by German holiday traditions on Saturday, December 15. There will be snacks (with plenty of sausages), mulled wine and traditional German music, along with a Weihnachtsmarkt. The event is open to the public from noon to 9 p.m.

Germany's ambassador in Greece, Jens Ploetner, sought to end a positive message on the prospects of the Greek economy at the launch in Berlin of a conference about southeastern Europe jointly organized by the Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and The Economist.

The Hellenic-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry opened a new website (www.german-fairs.gr) on exhibitions organised by German exhibition organisations in Germany and throughout the world, aiming to help Greek enterprises to promote their products abroad and gain access to international markets.
