Herzegovina's Council of Ministers

Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenkovic assured neighbouring Bosnia and Herzegovina at a joint government session in Zagreb on Tuesday that the storage of radioactive items at a facility two kilometres from the Bosnian border poses no danger.

The High Judicial and Prosecutorial Council of Bosnia and Herzegovina heard at its session on Wednesday that 30 per cent of war crimes suspects cannot be reached by prosecutors as they are living outside the country or have absconded.

It was recommended at the HJPC session that a top-level regional conference be organised to address the issue.

According to the draft budget for the coming year, which was discussed by Bosnia and Herzegovina's Council of Ministers on Tuesday, state institutions will earn between 1.2 and 1.4 million Bosnian marks (between 600,000 and 700,000 euros) in payments for renouncing citizenship in 2019.

Denis Zvizdic, the chair of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Council of Ministers, painted an optimistic picture in his speech to the Sarajevo Unlimited regional forum on Tuesday, saying that regional cooperation and networking would help young entrepreneurs find their place on the global market.
