UK lawmakers passed a bill for Brexit postponement. It was also adopted by the House of Commons at third and final reading by 327 to 299 votes.

According to the changes, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson must insist on postponing the country's exit from the EU until January 31, 2020.

In an attempt to reinforce the message that the UK is leaving the EU by 31 October, the UK diplomats will stop attending regular meetings in Brussels, the Guardian reports.
London officials claim that this move is in line with Boris Johnson's first statement in the House of Commons, in which he said that he will "unshackle" Birtish diplomacy from EU affairs.

The National Assembly will have a new and more modern website. The public contract for its construction has already been announced. Parliament has budgeted over BGN 100,000 in the summer months, bTV reported.

During a scandal involving leaked personal data from the NRA, prosecutors announced that parliament was also targeted by hackers. Or rather, its sprinklers.

Ten candidates will compete for Theresa May's place as leader of the British Conservative Party. 

The British Parliament passed a law aimed at forcing the government to ask EU leaders for a new break in Brexit to avoid divorce without an agreement on April 12, AP and AFP announced. The law was approved by the House of Lords and the House of Commons late last night.

There is now a clear choice for Britain between leave the European Union with a deal or not leave it at all, British Prime Minister Theresa May said, trying to reach a compromise with the opposition Labor party quoted by the British newspaper Observer.

Romania's President Klaus Iohannis on Friday welcomed visiting Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Croatia Marija Pejcinovic Buric to discuss political dialogue, economic co-operation and the state of play in the Romanian speaking communities of Croatia and the Croatian minority in Romania.

The European Union and the British government have negotiated a deal to step out of the stalemate around Brexit, European Commission President Jean-Claude Juncker said, quoted by Associated Press.

Juncker said the EU and the British government are behind the revisions aimed at ending the deadlock over the Brexit agreement.

,,Smooth and regulated exit of the European Union is needed to preserve the good cooperation on a bilateral basis'' said Prime Minister Boyko Borissov  in a telephone conversation with British Prime Minister Theresa May, the government information service said, quoted by Econ.bg
