Discount on ENFIA felt by most owners

Large-scale retroactive crackdown on tax evasion

Greece's Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR) plans to tighten its grip on tax evaders, with an increase in checks, even retrospectively, dating back to 2014.
In particular, and for the first time, it will cross-check supplier and customer declarations with the corresponding income and value-added tax declarations from 2014 onward.

Tax authorities enlist Airbnb’s help

Greece's tax administration intends to ask for help from short-term property leasing platforms in order to identify the owners or managers of some 20,000 properties that have not been declared to the Independent Authority for Public Revenue (IAPR) as they need to be in order to be given the necessary property registration number.

The French-Greek Chamber of Commerce and Industry is holding an event on Thursday at the French Institute of Greece (31 Sina, Athens) titled "Proposals for a Fair and Effective Tax Policy for Enterprises."
