Chinese Troops to Participate in joint Military Exercises in Russia
China's Defence Ministry has announced that its People's Liberation Army will participate in the strategic command and staff exercise Vostok-2022 in Russia in which India, Belarus, Tajikistan and Mongolia are also participants.
India says 20 troops killed in fight with China
Twenty Indian soldiers were killed during "hand-to-hand' fighting with Chinese troops in a disputed Himalayan region, India's military said, the first deadly clash between the nuclear powers in decades.
Both sides blamed the other for June 15's violence, which followed weeks of rising tensions over their competing territorial claims, with thousands of extra troops deployed.

The F-16 Fighters for Bulgaria Come from India
The American F-16 Viper fighters, for which Bulgaria negotiates, will almost certainly be produced in India. Lockheed Martin proposed to open a new factory in the Asian country and move the production of US planes into it in an attempt to win a major military order from the New Delhi authorities.

Indian Army Chief: Preparations For War Necessary

Five killed in gunfight between India police, rebels in Kashmir
Rebels attacked a police squad in the Indian portion of Kashmir, triggering a gunbattle that left three civilians, one officer and an assailant dead, police said on May 7.
The unit came under fire Saturday night as it reached a road accident site on a key highway connecting Kashmir Valley with the rest of India, said senior police officer S.P. Pani.
