The Chairman of PP GERB is going on a Working Visit to the United States
GERB Chairman and Chairman of the Internal Security and Public Order Committee, Tsvetan Tsvetanov, is going on a working visit to Washington, USA, GERB reported.
During his visit Tsvetanov will hold a series of meetings. The GERB Parliamentary Speaker will talk to representatives of various US institutions and the non-governmental sector.
Bulgarian Police Officers Renew Protests Against Proposed IntMin Reforms
Bulgarian police officers renewed their protests against the proposed changes to the Interior Ministry Act, which foresee cuts to the compensation paid upon retirement and reduction in the number of days of paid annual leave new officers will be entitled to.
On Monday, there were protests in Sofia, Plovdiv, Pleven and Gotse Delchev, private bTV station informs.

This became clear in the explanations of Interior Minister Rumyana Bachvarova after her participation in a meeting of the parliamentary Internal Security and Public Order Committee on Tuesday.

Tsvetlin Yovchev, Interior Minister in the Cabinet of Prime Minister Plamen Oresharski, dismissed the accusations that the 2014 anti-government protests in Bulgaria were accompanied by wiretapping.
These accusations were hurled by the chairperson of the parliamentary Internal Security and Public Order Committee Atanas Atanasov last week.
