A foreign national wanted for sexual crimes was arrested by police at Thessaloniki's Makedonia airport during a routine passport control check. 

According to Interpol's database, the 51-year-old man was wanted for his involvement in prostitution in France between 2006 and 2008, and the crimes allegedly involved multiple offenders, accomplices, and victims.

Police in Athens have arrested a 56-year-old fugitive wanted by the authorities in Albania for child trafficking.

The suspect, who was wanted on an Interpol arrest warrant, was tracked down in the central Athens district of Agios Nikolaos and taken into custody on Monday afternoon.

The Bulgarian banker Tzvetan Vassilev has again been declared an internationally wanted man. According to information from the National Radio, a European Arrest Warrant was issued for him last week, and since this week he has been submitted for search by Interpol. The reason is a new investigation against him, which the Sofia City Prosecutor's Office is working on.

The Chisinau Court of Appeal sentenced fugitive oligarch Ilan Shor to 15 years in prison in absentia for his key role in the so-called "Grand Theft" of one billion US dollars from Moldovan banking between 2012 and 2014.

Croatia's Bureau for the Prevention of Corruption and Organized Crime, USKOK, has filed an indictment against eight Croatian citizens for smuggling hundreds of kilograms of cocaine and selling weapons.

A drug smuggler wanted by Interpol with a red notice, Urfi Çetinkaya, has been detained in a villa in Istanbul's Sarıyer district along with five other people.

Istanbul police's anti-terror unit raided the villa with the support of special operations team on late April 11. He was then taken to the police station after a health check.

The warrant was published in the local media and listed the perpetrators with their full names and dates of birth. It also listed their potential locations. For Juric, the court stated that his location was "unknown", although in the judgment itself, the judge stated that Juric lives and works in a neighbouring country.

Defence lawyer Miroje Jovanovic asked the court to separate the proceedings against Mandic, Knezevic and Mandic's driver Mihailo Cadjenovic from the other ten defendants as the secret files apparently do not relate to them.

"The founders of Nexo, Antoni Trenchev and Kosta Kanchev, do not appear on either the Interpol or Europol lists, as they have not been issued red notices and European arrest warrants." This is what the Nexo company said in a press release.
