Foreign national arrested in Thessaloniki on Interpol notice

A foreign national wanted for sexual crimes was arrested by police at Thessaloniki's Makedonia airport during a routine passport control check. 

According to Interpol's database, the 51-year-old man was wanted for his involvement in prostitution in France between 2006 and 2008, and the crimes allegedly involved multiple offenders, accomplices, and victims.

Man wanted by Interpol for child trafficking arrested in Athens

Police in Athens have arrested a 56-year-old fugitive wanted by the authorities in Albania for child trafficking.

The suspect, who was wanted on an Interpol arrest warrant, was tracked down in the central Athens district of Agios Nikolaos and taken into custody on Monday afternoon.

Drug lord sought with red notice nabbed in Istanbul

A drug smuggler wanted by Interpol with a red notice, Urfi Çetinkaya, has been detained in a villa in Istanbul's Sarıyer district along with five other people.

Istanbul police's anti-terror unit raided the villa with the support of special operations team on late April 11. He was then taken to the police station after a health check.
