Turkey, Azerbaijan agree to deepen cultural cooperation
Turkey's communications director on March 2 met Azerbaijan's Culture Minister Anar Kerimov.
Fahrettin Altun received an Azerbaijani delegation in the capital Ankara, according to an official statement from the Turkish Presidential Communications Directorate.
The two sides discussed ways to improve collaboration in communication, media, culture, and cinema, the statement said.
EU-Turkey, a clash of eras
On Thursday, a few hours before the leaders of European Union member-states were to discuss the bloc's relations with Turkey, Recep Tayyip Erdogan attended a military parade in Baku, celebrating Azerbaijan's triumph over Armenian forces (with Turkish assistance).

Inshallah, happier together!
As the world's Muslim leaders admitted at last week's Islamic summit, the past 1,400 tumultuous years of sectarian fighting did not bring peace and happiness to Muslim lands. But, judging from the happy smiles and big speeches at the summit, the next 1,400 tumultuous years may be better.
Hopefully, the third 1,400 years of tumultuous future may finally bring some peace.
