Biden calls for 'pause' in Hamas-Israel fighting
President Joe Biden, when responding to a heckler at a Minnesota campaign event Wednesday night, said he thinks there should be a humanitarian "pause" in the Israeli-Hamas war to get "prisoners" out of Gaza.
The 80-year-old Democrat was delivering remarks to some 200 supporters in the northern US state when a member of the audience shouted out to him.

As the army stated, infantry units, armored and other units with the support of drones and combat helicopters participated in the raid, for the second night in a row, near the neighborhood of Shejaiya in the eastern part of Gaza City.

Erdoğan says cancelling plans to visit Israel
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has proposed an international peace process for resolving the Israel-Palestine question and has called on all the parties for an immediate ceasefire and the establishment of a humanitarian corridor into Gaza to heal the wounds of civilians who have been under attack by Israel since Oct. 7.
