Three Palestinians were killed Friday morning and eight others wounded in an operation by Israeli forces in Jenin in the occupied West Bank, Palestinian news agency Wafa reported.

The three men were killed when Israeli forces, who have increased their operations in the area in recent months, opened fire on the vehicle in which the men were travelling.

A gunman who allegedly killed two people in Tel Aviv and sent the city into lockdown died Friday in a shootout with Israeli security forces who hunted him all night, police said.

Kuwait will ban a new film adaptation of Agatha Christie's whodunnit "Death on the Nile" with a cast of Hollywood stars including Israeli actress Gal Gadot, authorities said on Feb. 6.

The film, directed by and co-starring Kenneth Branagh, is due for release this month in the United States.

Tensions increased in the region after hundreds of Palestinians demonstrated on the Gaza-Israel border.

The Israeli army announced that it responded to the attack with artillery fire, Reuters reports. Other agencies report that no one was injured, nor was any material damage done.
One of the rockets was shot down by the air defense, and the other fell on an uninhabited area, the army added.

This is the second violation of the otherwise fragile truce reached on May 21, after 11 days of fierce clashes between Israeli and Palestinian forces.
And this attack, as it was announced from the Israeli side, followed after the new "balloon bombs" launched from the Palestinian side causing eight fires in the south of Israel.

Israeli warplanes carried out airstrikes early on June 16 on positions in the Gaza Strip belonging to the Palestinian resistance group Hamas. 

The Israeli army said in a statement that it targeted Hamas compounds, including in the al-Yarmouk area east of Khan Younis city.

It also bombed a position in the Zeitoun neighborhood.

He was summoned after he caused dissatisfaction among Palestinians with comments that were estimated to favor Israel.

Turkey on May 27 denounced remarks of the director of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) in the Gaza Strip - which justified the Israeli assault on the blockaded enclave.

Foreign Ministry spokesman Tanju Bilgiç in a statement called Matthias Schmale's remarks "incorrect, unfortunate and extremely dangerous."

During the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, thousands of rockets were fired across the border on both sides, and the "Iron Dome" shot down most of those flying to Israeli cities.
