The 43rd Istanbul Film Festival, which opened with the presentation of the Cinema Honorary Awards on April 16, will continue through April 28 with films from Türkiye and the world.

Organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV), the 43rd Istanbul Film Festival kicked off with an opening ceremony held at Cemal Reşit Rey Concert Hall on April 16.

The Istanbul Film Festival is ready for its 43rd edition between April 17 and 28, bringing together acclaimed and award-winning films from the Türkiye and world cinema, as well as special screenings, stars and master filmmakers. Festival tickets are on sale as of today. 

The Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) launched the İKSV Earthquake Region Instrument Support Fund to provide instruments to music students and instructors after the earthquake on Feb. 6, 2023.

The 18th Istanbul Biennial, for which the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) has been working since March last year with some 58 artists from around the world to realize the event this September, has been postponed to 2025, İKSV has announced.

The 10th Leyla Gencer Voice Competition, co-organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV), Borusan Sanat, and Accademia Teatro alla Scala, will have its final series in Istanbul in September.

An installation by the influential artist Gülsün Karamustafa will be presented at the Türkiye Pavilion at the 60th International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, to be held between April 20 and Nov. 24, 2024.

The French Metz Grand Est National Orchestra will come to Türkiye in solidarity with the musicians affected by deadly earthquakes in early February that rattled the country's south.

The special concert will take place on July 6 at the Cemal Reşit Rey (CRR) Concert Hall in cooperation with Institut français Türkiye and the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (IKSV).

Organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV ) and curated by Ute Meta Bauer, Amar Kanwar and David Teh, the 17th Istanbul Biennial will open to the public on Sept. 17, bringing together people and processes in a gathering of more than 50 projects, each the fruit of long-term research and collaboration.

The Istanbul Jazz Festival will open its doors for the 29th time on June 25, uniting major jazz artists and the stars of contemporary music with music lovers in different venues of Istanbul.

TikTok has become the entertainment partner of the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (İKSV) as it celebrates its 50th anniversary.
