Borodin Quartet gets music festival award
The 43rd Istanbul Music Festival's Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to the Borodin Quartet at a ceremony held on June 4 at the Hagia Irene Museum.
The quartet received the award from Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (?KSV) President Görgün Taner and Istanbul Music Festival Director Ye?im Gürer Oymak.

Istanbul Music Festival returns with full program
The 43rd Istanbul Music Festival is returning for another year this weekend with some of the most celebrated figures in the world of classical music.
Organized by the Istanbul Foundation for Culture and Arts (?KSV), will start on May 31 with the opening ceremony and concert to be held at the Lütfi K?rdar Convention and Exhibition Center.

'Respiro' opens at Turkish Pavilion in Venice
?Respiro,? an installation by the influential conceptual artist Sarkis, opened at the Pavilion of Turkey at Venice?s 56th International Art Exhibition, la Biennale di Venezia, with a ceremony on May 7. Leyla Gencer Voice Competition seeks young talents
