Ljubljana – The Freedom Movement has gained 4.6 percentage points to 31% in the June poll commissioned by the newspaper Delo to extend its margin ahead of the Democratic Party (SDS) to 9.5 points, despite the opposition party reaching its high watermark.

Ljubljana – Ljubljana Mayor Zoran Janković has taken issue with the ruling Democrats (SDS) noting in a series of posts about its achievements that Ljubljana has been assessed as the safest city in Europe, saying that he does not know what SDS president and PM Janez Janša has to do with it.

Party boss: DeSUS council denies support to govt
Ljubljana – The council of the Pensioners’ Party (DeSUS) adopted a document on Tuesday whereby it denies any further support to the government, while calling on the government to resign immediately and call a snap election, DeSUS leader Ljubo Jasnič told reporters after the council’s session.
