Four Japanese films to be screened in Ljubljana

Ljubljana – A screening of Iwane: Sword of Serenity will kick-start the Summer Days of Japanese Film, a mini festival of four contemporary films organised this week by Kino Bežigrad cinema and the Japanese Embassy. Tickets are available free of charge for all four films, which will be screened at Kino Bežigrad at 3:30pm until Friday.

Hundreds of people celebrated on Saturday the reopening of the Japanese Garden in Herastrau Park by having picnics and taking photos of the blossoming cherries, an event that was also attended by Japanese Ambassador in Bucharest Kisaburo Ishii.

Albania Hopes Japanese Embassy Will Boost Ties

Albanian authorities hope that the new Japanese embassy in Tirana will help economic exchanges between two countries grow and encourage Japanese businesses to invest in Albania.

The ribbon-cutting ceremonial opening of the embassy was performed by the Albanian Foreign Minister, Ditmir Bushati, and by Japan's Minister for Foreign Affairs, Nobuo Kishi, on Monday.
