Kosovo Assembly

This is the assessment of Igor Simic, vice-president of the Serb List, who commented on the intention of the Pristina authorities to integrate the Kosovska Mitrovica-based Pristina University into the Kosovo system, by passing a law on higher education.

The meeting is attended by Prime Minister Ana Brnabic, security agency BIA chief Bratislav Gasic, First Deputy PM and Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic, Interior Minister Nebojsa Stefanovic, Defense Minister Aleksandar Vulin, Army chief Lieutenant General Milan Mojsilovic, Director of the Police Vladimir Rebic, and other officials.

According to the paper, against the position of the United States stands, first and foremost, Great Britain. The United States is in favor of Belgrade and Pristina reaching an agreement, while the British, according to the newspaper, are openly working against a deal.

The Serbian prime minister on Wednesday recommended them to try to get back into reality and to understand the rules of behavior in the 21st century.

The Prime Minister of the Provisional Kosovo Institutions Ramush Haradinaj has appointed Dijana Zivic as the new Minister of Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Development.
She replaced Nenad Rikalo, who was removed from office at the beginning of the month, Pristina press is reporting.

He stressed he was worried because of "the rhetoric, narrative, actions, which may be political in nature but with consequences on the security."

Pristina recently increased the said taxes by 100 percent, prompting Belgrade to demand their abolishing before the EU-mediated Kosovo dialogue can continue.

The president of the Kosovo Assembly said this at a joint press conference with representatives of the provisional Pristina institutions, Hashim Thaci, Ramush Haradinaj, and Shpend Ahmeti, one of the coordinators of the dialogue team.

This organization requested the dismissal because Pacolli used "sexist and racist" language when he spoke before Kosovo Assembly's foreign affairs committee to describe "the way Serbia lobbied against Kosovo's membership in Interpol."

Stoltenberg announced that as Kosovo Security Force (KSF) "evolves," NATO will "reexamine its level of engagement with the KSF in the new year."

He said this during a phone conversation on Wednesday with the prime minister of the provisional Pristina institutions, Ramush Haradinaj.
