Unknown perpetrators on Thursday removed a banner with the slogan "Ratko Mladic is a war criminal convicted of genocide" from the building in the Serbian city of Novi Sad which houses the offices of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina, LSV political party.

Secretary General of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV) Bojan Kostres said that taking part in the polls was the only way to oppose the current government.
According to this statement, Kostres said that "the boycott of the elections is reducing the number of turnout and, therefore, enabling a greater number of MPs to the Serbian Progressive Party".

League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina (LSV) has called on Minister of Environment Goran Trivan to announce when the Bill on Climate Change will be presented to the Serbian Parliament.
LSV in a statement reminds the minister that he personally announced the adoption of the law by the end of 2018, then by half, and then by the end of 2019.

When she was asked to comment on the meeting of the representatives of the ruling party and some of the opposition held on Wednesday at the Faculty of Political Sciences (FPN) behind closed doors, Brnabic assessed that according to her opinion, this meeting was not important or relevant for 90 percent of Serbian citizens.

Serbian Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic said this.

Bojan Kostres, the vice president of the League of Social Democrats of Vojvodina, LSV, said that citizens of Catalonia and the northern Serbian province of Vojvodina both have the right to decide on their own fate.

Serbian opposition parties have rejected the proposition of the former Democratic Party president, Bojan Pajtic, to adopt a "radically different approach" to political struggle and boycott parliament, as they did during the era of President Slobodan Milosevic.

BELGRADE - Serbia's Prime Minister-designate Aleksandar Vucic on Tuesday began the consultations on the new government with a meeting with officials of the Socialist Party of Serbia -United Serbia coalition in the parliament building.

Vucic and his aide Ivica Kojic met with SPS and United Serbia leaders Ivica Dacic and Dragan Markovic at 2 pm.

BELGRADE - The Republic Electoral Commission (RIK) Thursday allocated seats to future lawmakers in the new composition of the Serbian parliament, which created the conditions for convening the constitutive session of parliament.

The seats are filled according to the order on the electoral lists.
